Leave a Bequest

Making a gift to Catholic Homes in your Will is a wonderful caring legacy that enables us to enrich the lives of others. We will honour your wishes and use the capital, or income from that capital, in accordance with your express wishes.

Sample wording for making a bequest in your will is outlined below, but we recommend that you seek the advice of a solicitor so that your intentions are understood and the bequest is clearly and legally stated.

Sample wording:

"I bequeath to Catholic Homes for the Elderly Inc. (trading as Catholic Homes ABN 37 97 262 9513) for its general purposes (or describe a specific service, facility or purpose) the sum of $_______ (or portion of estate, or description of property) and I direct that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of Catholic Homes shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my trustee who shall not be required or bound to see to the application thereof."
